We've had a few cases where members did not receive e-mail notifications when they got a reply on their forum question.
Normal settings would make sure that you receive notifications when someone replies to your question.
Still, it sometimes it happens that no e-mail was sent.
1. To make sure you receive e-mail notifications for only questions you raise in a forum follow the steps below:
Create a forum question in one of the forums you're a member of.
Before posting it, make sure you checked the "Notify me when someone replies to this post" box.
You will now be notified for replies to your own forum post.
2. To subscribe to a forum and receive email notifications for all new posts that are created in that specific forum go back to the forum itself:
On this page click on the button in the right bottom corner "Turn Forum notifications on"
and change it from:
To
Now you will receive emails for all forum activities that take place in the forum you subscribed to.
To make sure you only receive emails for your threads go into your settings:
Go into the notifications tab:
Keep all boxes checked (unless you have other preferences) and un-check the one like in the example below.
Now you will receive e-mails for only your forum threads.
