Long-standing users may have trouble with their account. Years ago, this platform was not yet an accepted way to communicate with our audience. You have proven that it is and RWS is picking up the glove and start putting in the investments needed to really make this work.

In the past you had two ways to login; Local Community Account OR RWS ID.

Some of you have worked ONLY with Local Community Accounts. Going forward, we are replacing that with the RWS wide RWS ID. One account that works everywhere!

This, however, brings for our existing users who used only a Local Community Account a small migration activity that may be confusing.

This has everything to do with making sure that nobody can impersonate you and hijack your account.

As a result, we ask you ONCE AND ONE LAST TIME to provide your old password. The system has already recognized you. If you provide that password, we will automatically link your Local Community Account with your RWS ID and henceforth you can always login with your RWS ID.

What is the benefit of RWS ID?

Clearly, like with Google or Apple, you only have to remember one account.

This will allow us to provide you integrated product and web services. If you decide to login somewhere, we can now integrate from different systems.
