Hello everyone.

During the project creation I create a new termbase, but when i click on "Create" > "File-based termbase" I get the following error message: "Could not load file or assembly 'Sd. TranslationStudio.Terminology Scoring.' or one of its dependencies. Impossibile trovare il modulo specificato."

You are using the Trados license you received from the University of Padova - as part of the Academic Partner Program right?

I need to confirm this with you, as I need to open a case with the technical team so they can investigate and they need to know what license you have.

I tried to repair but the error persists.

If I open Multiterm I do get an error. This is the error message:

Hi Ana Sintes,

Firstly, the certifications have been moved on the RWS University platform since last year. They cannot be accessed from the RWS account anymore.

Secondly, the orders are for Trados 2024, I have emailed you from the education inbox and explained what should happen when a student applies for the Certifications from the website.

From my investigations, the email you used to request them is different from the email you used to contact us. Please reply to my email. Or make sure you are using the correct email address. When a student applies for the Certifications bundle, the student is emailed an invite to join RWS University platform and other emails to enroll to the Certifications. If the email address is not valid, you won't receive these emails.

It sounds as though you may be a student? Given this was posted almost a month ago with no response (most likely because you posted into the wrong place and nobody noticed) I'll move it into the students forum. I also reckon the answer is well overdue... but perhaps still worthy of discussion.

Equivalence in translation refers to how closely a translated text conveys the meaning, effect, and function of the source text. All translators face challenges in achieving equivalence because languages and cultures do not map perfectly onto each other. The main issues include... maybe someone can fill that in?

Hi Antonina Ustiuzhanina ,

If your university is in the Academic Program, they should also have Trados 2024 installers and the professor is the one to provide the installer to the students.

Also, the professor is the one who needs to add the students to Trados Team so they can accept the invite and then be able to Login and access Trados Studio.

Where did you get the installer for Trados 2022?

Problems activating my Trados license

Hello,

I am writing with some unpleasant news: the problem has not been resolved. When I log in to my teacher's request to join and enter my username and password, I receive the same error (see first screenshot). However, I would like to add that perhaps it did not work because my teacher could only send the invitation last Sunday. He was unable to send it when I first wrote to you about the error because he was having problems with his email. Within 48 hours, I did not receive or accept the request. What should I do? Could you give me another 48 hours? My teacher and I have discussed it, and he is aware of the situation. If not, are there other options to resolve the issue?

I will explain what happened more clearly. At the university, we were given new email addresses, which we then used to replace the previous ones in our RWS accounts. Our teacher added these new addresses, and we received invitations to them. On that day, I encountered an error and wrote to you about it for the first time. I attached screenshots showing exactly what the error was. You replied that the teacher had 48 hours to remove me, add me to Trados Team, and send an invitation. I accepted the invitation. However, within the next 48 hours, my teacher did not send me an invitation because he was having problems with his email. He eventually solved the problem, but by that time, quite a bit of time had passed. He sent me an invitation, but the error remained the same.

I just had a chat with the teacher to learn more about this, and he said he had removed me and then added me back. When he added me back, anyone who had already been added would automatically receive an invitation to activate their account.

Kindly inform your professor to remove/delete you entirely from Trados Team and then to add you again and send the invite. You are now an Inactive user, therefore you need to be added again and have the invite sent to you again. So please pass this to the professor, to remove you and then to add you again and invite you again, and please accept the invite when it is sent. But the professor needs to remove you first and then add you again and invite you.
