Active licenses for SDL Developer

Question

Dear Sirs,
Our company wants to add own plugin for SDL Trados Studio to the SDL AppStore to share with other SDL Language Technology users. To do this we already sign up to become an SDL Developer. But you have note on site - we should have an active license for the SDL product our plugin relates to. Our plugin supports the following versions of SDL Trados Studio - 2017, 2019 and 2021. Should we have own license for every version? And what about editions - Is it enough to have a Freelance version?

 No. If you are providing the plugin free of charge you don't even need a licence at all. But I guess you will need the different versions to be able to develop against them and validate they actually work! At least you'll need access to someone to test this for you.
