Is it possible to hide the button created for custom view-parts in the View ribbon?
The ViewPartLayoutAttribute doesn't seem to have an appropriate property for this.
Could you please help me in this regard?

Hi Gil Ferraz, it is not possible to hide the button that is added in the View ribbon, while the plugin is being loaded into the Studio context. It is needed to enable the user to show the view part after it has been closed.
Just to make sure I fully understand, can you explain the use case/requirement for this?
