We have now added showing Custom Fields to inbox, so you could now hyperlink to stylesguides and they are visible to translators:  Trados Enterprise - 24.04.1 Release  

Is there a way we can load the style guide as an asset in TE and link it? We don't have our style guides exposed on external URLs. We'd ideally like to house them in TE and have that be where linguists can reference them.

Not yet, that is on the plan to enable in the future. But in the meantime this is a good workaround if you can host styleguides somewhere, such as a Sharepoint or other.
