TM Import - automatically recognize language direction

It would be great if the language direction could be recognized automatically by the system. A TMX file always contains the language codes as structural information.

Trados Enterprise General Options screen with an error highlighted on the 'Language Direction' field, indicating it is a required setting.

This would be great and it would also be nice if TE could handle multilingual TMX files without defining the languages.
