*.tmx file type settings for TE

For Trados Studio, file type settings for *.tmx are available via the RWS App Store: RWS AppStore
We would appreciate the option to use them in Trados Enterprise as well - they would be helpful e.g. for reviewing/correcting Translation Memory exports with help of verification settings.

    Thank you, that would be a good improvement!
    ... still, I can imagine a few cases where we would appreciate the possibility to review the tmx first before initally importing content into the TM; i.e. (automated) alignments, external TM (exports).
    So the tmx file type settings would be helpful after all ;)

    Hi Evelyn,

    Exactly, it doesn't do so today, but that is our plan, to allow you to do this in the TM Maintenance Editor, rather than have to export it first. Would save you a few steps.

    Thanks for your reply! I am not sure I unserstand your suggestion correctly - reviewing a file in the TM Maintenance editor doesn't give us the same QA possibilties as the Online Editor, does it? (i.e. check for terminology, forbidden characters, inconsistent repetitions etc.)

    Thanks for raising the idea. We'd rather allow you to do QA checks in the TM Maintenance editor for this use case, then go through the project creation with TMX and then using the Online Editor for this. Would this work for your use case?
