TQA models: allow users with roles other than Admin, Lead Project Managers, Project Managers to create projects with TQA model added to the project templates

Currently, TE doesn't allow users with role different than Admin, Lead Project Managers or Project Manager ("Customer Requester" role for example) can't create any project using a project template that contains a TQA model. This is a big limitation of the system. All users, no matter their role in our system, should be able to create a project with TQA added to the corresponding project template. Could you please fix this asap?

  • Hi Carla,

I've been in touch with the Support team on this one. I understand it was related to permissions that had been assigned to a custom role you were using for Customer Requesters in CP and the issue has been resolved. Please let me know if there is anything still outstanding.

    Cheers,

    Ian

  • Hi

I did (case #CS0004646) and RWS Support told me that it was "normal behaviour" and that I should submit an idea on RWS Community. I agree with you, it's not normal and really not handy. All users should be able to create a project using a project template that uses a TQA model. If you could have a look at my ticket, and jump in, that would be very very helpful because at the moment we are stuck, and our users can't use our TQA model.

  • Hi Carla,

This sounds like more of a bug to me, so I suggest we handle this via a support ticket rather than the Ideas area. Can you please raise a Support request to cover this issue?

    Cheers,

    Ian
