When working on long scholarly texts with a lot of footnotes, it is imperative to be able to match the segment in the body of the text that is footnoted with the footnote itself, which appears in another segment, often quite far down the column. This creates a huge waste of time and effort since I have to constantly check the source and annotate each segment with an identification of the number and then scroll down to find the footnote, and annotate that as well. A simple fix would be to make the footnote number appear in the Tag ID. Currently the ID reads: autonumber "1", which is no help at all.
