Merging segments across paragraphs should be enabled by default, also when translating single files. It is annoying that the options "Allow source editing" and "Disable merging segments across paragraphs" have to be changed in each project.
This is by design as this is often seen as controversial in the supply chain, so we did not want to automate this as much at this point.
