A filter development group with cloud based automated distribution would be a great tool for clients and internal users alike.

Can we initiate a service for Clients that pay for gold level service and above where they could submit files for filter development (internal users would have the same access). Someone would then be responsible for developing a filter for that filetype and upload the filter to a cloud based filter repository (language cloud?). When Studio comes across a filetype it doesn't know how to handle it would query the cloud repository and automatically download the filters for that filetype. We could mark them as being experimental filters if needed. 

We have the app store that has additional filetype available for certain formats but it requires the user to go to the store, search for the filetype, download and install it etc. There should be a more seamless way of implementing this within the studio project wizard.

As the filters would be based in the cloud they would be available to any of our technology that uses the filter framework. TMS for example.
