Access to some basic functions of the WS servers

At Belkin (and in most of the big companies), only our IT department has access to the servers of WS. The administrators of WS can't quickly retrieve the Language Resource file from the servers for example (https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001677). We need to ask our IT manager's approval, etc. Would be nice to have access to the basic linguistic resources of our WS via our own user interface.

  • I´ll second that request. From my point of view, it´s about more than just retrieving and replacing language resource files from the WorldServer UI. It´s also about lots of settings that are usually "hidden" in *.properties files on the servers. I would really like to see an enhanced administration UI in WorldServer that allows system administrators to change even the more advanced settings from within the WorldServer UI. Maybe introducing a kind of "expert view" would be an option for that.
