Planned for Future Release

Hi Rian,

Thanks for the post - this is exactly the approach we are taking with replacing the Explorer functionality to eliminate yet another applet - migrate the functionality to a more logical place, like Project pages.

Do you envisage any restrictions on the usage of such a feature? I.e. should a user be able to do this at ANY point in the workflow, even say after all other tasks have completed Review? Or should we just open this up as a capability and it is up to the user to manage their project as they see fit?

Thanks

Ray

Add files to existing project via UI

Once upon a time, WorldServer projects were created from the WorldServer Explorer. Adding more files to an existing project also had to be done via the WorldServer Explorer. Since then, the "Upload Files and Create Project" wizard was created to make project creation easier and faster. However, adding files to an existing project still has to be done via the WorldServer explorer. It would be great if that could also be done using an (adapted) "Upload Files and Create Project" wizard.

I could imagine a button "Add files" in the task list of a project that would start the "Upload Files and Create Project" wizard but with most values copied from the existing project and already filled in (and unchangeable) and only the possibility to add files and choose locales (you may not need the extra files in all locales).
