Added more content in one page at top of the page,
the content below from the page moved to the next page when do the composition as per page layout & styles.
Here in next page we dnt have any change in existing content but some content flows from the previous page.
So for those page we want show a small bar at the footer.
Is there any feature available in XPP to achieve this ?
As far as I know that feature is not available in XPP.
Using the checksum you could detect that the content of a certain page has changed but that could be for a million reasons. But maybe it can be a start...?
I'm not sure if Bart's reference to using a "checksum" was to the XPP-delivered divsum utility, but there is such a utility that gives you some flexibility in what data is included in a calculated checksum for a page.
Take a look at it via 'xyhelp divsum' and/or the desciption of it in the Command Line Utilities manual.
Perhaps that will help you to at least identify pages that have changed (from some "baseline" set of checksum values per page).
