Compose error "invalid C_2DB code"

Hello,

There is an error showing after composing a division after importing a text with mark trace code.

Error dialog box with the message 'invalid C_2DB code' and an 'OK' button.

Text log showing errors: 'ERROR: Cannot align overfilled block', 'ERROR: invalid C_2DB code', and '!!! invalid C_2DB code'.

May I know what is the meaning of this error? I cannot find any about it from the menu.

We are working on XPP9.3.1.

Regards,

Chung

  • Hi Chung,

I'm sorry to hear that you have run into this problem.

The C_2DB error is an internal composition error that indicates that the composition engine ran into something unexpected in the data stream being composed and it was unable to recover or continue.

It's possible that it is being caused by something that is not correct in your import file, but it could be something else.

I do not think that it is likely that you will be able to get the help you need to resolve this in this Community forum.

I suggest that you open a Case with RWS Support as the full file being imported will probably need to be examined.

I hope that you are able to find a resolution with help from Support.
