I am trying to upload a word documnet into the language weaver portal, it uploads the file and then gets stuck at 2% translation. Any idea why this might be happening?

How large is the document (characters/pages) ? What Language pair are you using for translation ?
Is this happening for any document or a particular document ? We would need the source document to see and re-test. Can you please log a ticket via https://gateway.sdl.com/ and we can have a look.
If this issue is still happening for you, can you please open Development Tools ( CTRL+SHIFT+I in Chrome) before you click "Translate" button ? There should be some requests and one of the Headers is called "trace-id" that we would need to see.
