Internal fuzzy match functionality is not planned in Trados (Enterprise/Team) in near future.

Hi there. Who can help further with a reason for this. We have recently signed up to Trados Team, and always use fuzzy matches when creating a cost analysis for our Customer and Translator, atleast from Studio this has always been the workflow.

Who are the target users for Trados Team if a function like fuzzy match will not be integrated in the future. And what is the work around or solution, as one cannot produce an analysis with fuzzy matches back in Studio either if the project is set up as a Cloud project. Or is a wrokaround to, create new project in Studio and then upload to Cloud once the analysis is done, then you can atleast assign the translation workflow and project manage the end of the workflow in Trados Team....

I am interested to know how other translation companies use Team without this function, or have this challenge. Where can we find more on this topic please?

I think you are mixing 2 things - a fuzzy match returned by the TM (which is fully supported) and "virtual" fuzzy match which is created as you translate a specific file - so called "internal fuzzy match".

I mean fuzzy match from TM then.... is there a function to produce a total calculation of fuzzy across multiple files?... not just per file.

+ and separated per language, before the Analysis section of the workflow is completed. As this is for a customer quote, and should not be prepared in the Bilingual Engineering section.

Yes, you get same kind of report as you have in Studio - per file and totals.
