Hi, Eugene!

I write here because I am tired of changing the culture every day, because after closing the program it returns to English date format.

Well, my OS is in English. But the program should keep my setting, isn't it? (In my case ES, I also tried some variants like ES, ES-ES, CA-ES...)

This must be a bug. Is there a remedy somehow?

Good morning and hi again,

Just for the common interest, here's my feedback.

Out of desperation I changed my Windows 11 OS language to Catalan and Woop! it works with no further human action nor configuration! This is not ideal, far from ideal in reality, because I like my OS to stay in English (I translate a lot for software companies and it's just better to "immerse" myself in the English software environment a.k.a. culture).

Now, let me suggest this: if there's a non working Culture option in TBM, because it follows the OS setting, please put a warning on top "Only for occasional use, not permanently saved" (like for when you have to invoice to a customer from whatever other country once a year).

Hi Eugene,

I would like to know if such features are available in the near future:

- Automatic reminder emails to be sent to vendors/clients to urge them to take some actions (e.g. vendors fail to deliver the translation by the set deadline)
- Adding a vendor group directly (instead of indiviudual vendors) in the Assignment Candidates Section

Also, there might be some potential bugs here:

- In the Notification (spelling issue) list, when I create a new notification and click User field, a blank page pops up:

- In the Assignment candidate section, when I send a Vendor quote request, it seems that the respective vendor does not receive any notification and the page for them to take the quote action.

Hi Mike,

I will do my best anyway. Currently have very limited time to do any changes, but could try.

For this request, this is something which can't be easily implemented. As you notice, any notifications currently sent by TBM are triggered by some user actions in UI (saving an assignment, creating email, etc.). This request requires some background job which will automatically do something. However, IIS settings may prevent application from working all the time, pausing its execution when noone uses it, for example. In this case automatic emails won't be sent. But again, can try to implement this on next time working on an update!

I understand that the support for this product is diminishing after a recent announcement was released last month, but our Company invested quite a lot on it and would ask for an important favor from you regarding the following important feature: scheduled automatic notification (via in-app notification or an emai), specifically:

- Schedule automatic reminder emails (which can be cancelled by me anytime) to be sent to vendors/clients to urge them to take some actions (for example an reminder email/notification in a customized template will be sent to a vendor 1 day before the deadline, another to be sent when the deadline is reached but no delivery has been made by the vendor, but if the delivery is made, such scheduled email/notification should be automatically disabled)

This will definitely help us much. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm experiencing a total failure of the interfave of TBM Essential. I was trying to open the scheduler and the program got stuck on a page with a red block error.

the f12 command gave me this:

no response but I managed to solve the issue on my own. I copied my database to a safer location, uninstalled TBM and reistalled a previous version (6.1.0).

After reinstalling the software in its previous version I just copied my database back to the database folder, overwriting the default empty one that comes with a new installation. Older TBM works fine and all my data (even custom templates) are back where I want them. Making an educated guess, the problem is likely the result of some later upgrade and it only affects the visual interface, leaving us with the red error blocks.

Whatever you do, make sure you make a safety copy or your database first. The database file is called tbmdb.sqlite and is in \Trados Business Manager v6\resources\bin\database

I hope this helps.

Just as the title says, it would be more convenient if you could add the filters including Vendor Group filter to the Price-list > Linked vendors > Link > Vendors page (just like the Vendor search page when we create an Assignment). I wonder if it would be added in the future?

P/S: Could I purchase 2 more users for my TBM Team version via my local reseller here in Vietnam? Is there a fixed price per user?

Actually, it sounds feasible - add the same search component on the right of the list. Ok, adding to the plan, and we'll most probably handle this in the next update!

As for the second question, harder to answer, cause I personally don't touch/know anything about sales processes. I believe the answer is 'yes', but it's better contact sales, as they don't track these forums probably.

I believe it would be more helpfull if the average rating could be a decimal instead of an interger (For example: 4.5, 3.7, etc). This would help to decide which vendors are given more priority over an assignment. Would it possible soon?
