I already forgot how version 5.3 looks and works, as current one has pretty different UI, but as I rememeber, in the drop down you have column, which you can customize. And if you drag the column down, it gets removed from the list. And to revert column back, try to right click on the table header, and find something like Reset view settings, or Customize columns, or something like this. This should return Name column to the drop down and you will see your units

thank you for your hints. The problem is not that I dragged the column down - this is not the case, i.e. the column "Unit" is still there. But the entries that the column contains are not visible (although they do still exist).

As you say, in the context menu there is indeed the function "Reset view settings" - but this unfortunately didn't help.

I thought I could try something with the Appearance rule Editor and I changed the background color to black but this also didn't show any result (background color still is white).

I really would appreciate if you have another idea.

Right click on header in the drop down, Column chooser, and drag Name column back.
