This topic provides an overview of the new features, enhancements and other changes introduced in version 5.0.0 of SDL BaccS Lite.

Relaunch as a licensed application
The plugin has been rebranded as 'BaccS Lite' as part of the SDL BaccS product offering.
New licensing system based on SafeNet
The plugin operates without a license allowing the user to create up to 15 invoices and 15 quotes. Once this limit has been reached the plugin must be licensed to continue.
New 'Projects' view
This view displays all the active projects in the SDL Trados Studio Projects View. The user can optionally specify customers and specializations for the projects as well as view the estimated value of projects, track invoiced and quoted projects, and quickly create new quotes and invoices based on the selected projects.
Uninvoiced projects dashboard updates
Resolved a problem with the table data that was preventing it from displaying correctly.
Improved threading allowing synchronization to work as a background task
The synchronization of Trados Studio projects with BaccS Lite now takes place as a background thread. This allows users to continue working during this process.
Miscellaneous bug fixes
Improved the robustness of the plugin to ensure the application works in harmony with SDL Trados Studio.
