&lt;p&gt;Depending on actions performed in a quote, SDL Trados Business Manager could send automatic notifications to a company&amp;rsquo;s user (manager) or customer&amp;rsquo;s user.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When quote is created by a customer via customer portal, SDL Trados Business Manager will send notification about new quote request to all application users (except vendors and customers) with checked&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Send notifications&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;checkbox.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When user (manager) changes status of a quote from&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em&gt;Prepare&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;to&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em&gt;Sent&lt;/em&gt;, an automatic e-mail notification will be sent to:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;A user linked with a customer with&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Email&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;field value equal to e-mail of a contact person selected in a quote, provided that&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Notification method&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;for that user is set to&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;Email&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp;or&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;Both&lt;/em&gt;;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;All users associated with a customer with provided e-mail address and&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Notification method&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;set to&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em&gt;Email&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;or&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em&gt;Both&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If no e-mail notifications were sent, in-app notification will be set to all users associated with a customer and&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Notification method&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;set to&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em&gt;In-app&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;or&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em&gt;Both&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When a customer accepts a quote, notification will be sent to:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;If a quote has responsible person selected and e-mail address is provided for that person, to that e-mail address (if default e-mail account exists in the system);&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Otherwise, to all users with&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Receive notifications&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;checkbox enabled (except customers and vendors).&lt;/li&gt;
