Importing customers from Excel

Business Manager Lite allows to import customer list from Excel file. To perform import, please follow these steps:

Open plugin folder (C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\Business_Manager_Lite).
In this folder, find CustomersTemplate.xlsx file, open it and use as a template for filling customer list. Take a note that it is restricted to edit column names. However, you can remove unwanted columns if you wish.
When file is read, save it as CSV comma-delimited file.
In the Business Manager Lite, go to the customer list and click Import from CSV button on the toolbar.
Select your file and wait when operation finishes. You will see confirmation success message or error message describing an error occurred during import.
Click OK to view refreshed list of customers.

Take a note that during import TBM will overwrite existing customers if name of any existing customer fully matches a name of imported customer. This allows to import same file multiple times (for example, after additional edits) without creating duplicates in TBM.
