Changes introduced in Trados Business Manager Connector 6.0.0

This topic provides an overview of the new features, enhancements and other changes introduced in version 6.0.0 of Trados Business Manager Connector.

This version is only compatible with Trados Business Manager (TBM) version 6.0.0 and later.
Changed the way in which the plugin communicates with TBM. Now it's possible to connect to Trados Studio installed on local computer with TBM installed on a remote server. Previously, it was required to have both applications on the same physical computer.
Added the possibility to select a project when creating a job in TBM from Studio. Now, even if you have a project with multiple languages, you can select the TBM project you intend to use for the new jobs.
Job/project creation window contains a "Deadline" field. Previously information from this field was automatically copied to the Trados Studio project. This behaviour was confusing for users so it has been removed.
