Custom notifications

You can create custom notifications (or reminders), which will appear at certain time, so you can return to particular task and avoid forgetting about it. For each reminder, you can provide reminder message and link it with particular object, so it will be possible to click on a notification and immediately switch to a screen of interest.
To create a notification, please follow one of the following methods.

Method 1.

Click on the Notifications icon, and then on the List button, to open a list of notifications:
In the list of notifications, click Create or Clone button to create a new notification.
In the notification creation window, provide necessary details (select reminder day and time, select linked entity and provide reminder message):

In this example, we selected some quote and set a reminder to return to it later.
Click Save and close.
Created reminder will appear in the list of notifications. Notifications with reminder time set in future are displayed on grey background. Notifications with white background have already been shown to users, but not deleted.
When reminder time will be reached, you will see toast notification and your reminder will appear under Notifications button in the top right corner.

Method 2.

Open one of supported entities (project, assignment, quote, invoice, payment, vendor, customer).
Click Create notification button on the toolbar.

Take a note that this button is available only when there are no unsaved changes on the current page.
Provide details for a reminder being created:
Click OK to confirm reminder creation.
You can go to the list of notifications to check that a new reminder has been created.
When reminder time will be reached, you will see toast notification and your reminder will appear under Notifications button in the top right corner.
