When opening a file in Trados Studio a message was displayed that read "The local version of file XYZ available in Trados Studio conflicts with the version stored in the cloud. Do you want to overwrite the local version with the latest version available in your account (Last modified on: XYZ)?"
How regularly does Trados Studio update the XLIFF files in the Trados (Live) Team cloud while we are translating a downloaded project? Can this setting be customised anywhere?

The Cloud projects (XLIFF files) will be updated when the local versions are saved (manually - CTRL + S / File -> Save or automatically - through the AutoSave feature from Trados Studio).

Yes, you can adjust this setting in Trados Studio as follows:
1. Open Trados Studio
2. Go to File -> Options
3. Click on Editor -> AutoSave
4. Adjust the time -> OK
