Hi Muhammed - I think you may be referring to the batch task "Update from Reviewed Target File (Retrofit)". This can take slight changes from the target version of a document back into your bilingual SDLXLIFF file in the project, so you can then review the changes (track changes accept/reject) and then update the TM from there. It is described in our documentation here - https://docs.rws.com/980998/359656/trados-studio-2022/batch-task-sequences-for-existing-projects, also here in more detail - https://docs.rws.com/980998/355892/trados-studio-2022/importing-files-reviewed-in-native-format - and it is also described in a very nice blog here - https://signsandsymptomsoftranslation.com/2015/07/10/studio-2015-ii/. Dear Daniel, thank you for your reply. I tried Retrofit many times but to no avail. The segments are still not populated - still empty. The case is I have a reference file for a translation project which I have prepared on Trados. I want to populate Trados file with the reference file as they are 80% similar. Any ideas?
Thanks again Daniel!

Hi Muhammed - possibly when you have both source and target as Word format, then you could use alignment also... but I am sure you tried that already. If you have only the target and not the source, I am wondering if there is a way - possibly not, at least nothing comes to my mind. Thanks, Daniel
