How can I set a penalty when importing a TM in TRADOS LIVE TEAM? I do not have a studio license, I just want to import the TM directly in an existing translation memory TRADOS LIVE TEAM and set a penalty for it. Anyone around here who knows how to do this? Thx in advance for your help!

Can you explain about the penalty you are looking to apply? Are you referring to apply filter when importing the *.tmx content? E.g. you import the *.tmx you set up a filter to import values greater than 01.01.2021
If so, this is not yet available in Trados Team TM import.

Hello, I want to apply a penalty because I am not so sure about the quality of the tmx I am going to import and I want to be able to identify it later. So it would be helpful to apply a penalty to it during the import so the translations coming from it will not be displayed as Context or 100% Matches but with a lesser quality. Is this possible?

you can set a field with some custom value which you can then use to create a penalty - each TU added from your TMX will have such field and will be penalized.

First you need to create such fields in the Field templates and then you need to set the values in the Project settings in the Update TM section.
And then of course in the Project Settings you need to set appropriate penalties filters
From the use case I would suggest another, more simpler solution. Why importing the TMX with unknown quality into the master TM? It might be simpler to create a separate TM with this data and add it to the translation engine where you can give it a general penalty.
Indeed, this is probably much easier, and over time, as you will be updating your master TM, all the units which you will review while translating will make it into your master TM.
