Hello,
is it possible to edit the datatype for MS Excel and have it segment per cell, even if there is a full stop in the segment. We have data, that has crazy abbreviations, and Studio of course starts a new segment after each abbreviation followed by a full stop. The abbreviations are too many and too crazy to add them to the abbreviation list.

Unfortunately I cannot provide you with a sample file because we are talking about numerous ridiculous abbreviations. We are translating length restricted texts from SAP. It's a very large amount of words. There is no chance to add all abbreviations to the abbreviations list. So, the below described option is not working for us.
It's a list of about 300.000 SAP entries with texts that have a length restricition of 40 characters. That's why the editors come up with ridiculous abbreviations within the texts such as "Verdra.", "gl.", "metallis.". Depending on the space left there is even more than one abbreviation for the same word. I don't see a chance, to get a list of all the abbreviations used in those 300.000 entries. I was hoping that there is a way to include a rule like "the content of one cell in Excell should be exported as one segment in Studio".

Best solution is to use paragraph segmentation. Have you tried that? A cell in Excel is essentially a paragraph.
