Just a small technical question: I am using Trados 2021, but I realized that I still have also the older 2019 version installed. Since ?m gaving disk space problems, can I disinstall version 2019 without affecting version 2021?

You can safely uninstall any previous version of the software.
For files and similar use an external HDD to store older jobs in order to free space on your disk. Please also use disc cleanup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_Cleanup) to remove unnecessary files from your HDD.

Oh great! I already have an external HDD for old jobs and many photos and more, but I am still full. I will tri the disc cleanup you are suggesting. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Excuse-me, Jerzy, now I visualize Trados packages with a white empty square (see screenshot). They seem to work fine anyway, but is there something missing? They were colored before... maybe I disinstalled something I did not have to disinstall? :-((
It is only a cosmetic problem. Please go to Windows Settings, chose Apps and go to Standard Apps. Type sdlppx there and make sure, Trados Studio is assigned. You can also run a repair installation of your newer version of the program, which also should solve the problem.

sdlppxis not found in the apps, which means I disinstalled something I shouldn't have to... I will try to run the repair

Indeed, Windows 11 has changed the behaviour to my complete surprise. And unfortunately I do not find the old method where you could change those settings.
As for the repair: Type "Control Panel" in your search in Windows. In the "View" chose "(small or big) symbols", locate the Programs and Features, open it. There scroll down to Trados Studio and right click it, select "Uninstall/change" and then chose "Repair".
You do not have any problems on your PC, the only "problem" you report is the missing colourful symbol for your file. You can live with that, as it does not make any change in the behaviour of the software.

I have Windows 10, anyway. I followed the procedure you said, but I get the message I showed above.
Anyway, can reinstall my Trados from my RWS profile?
You can anytime download the installer from your RWS account and install as often as necessary. Please bear in mind, that you must deactivate the program when moving to another computer, but do not need to do that, if installing simply again on the same machine.
But which is the "message you showed above"? I cannot see any Trados related message here. If you mean the HDD is full problem, then it seems you have too many programs and too small HDD... An upgrade might be necessary here.

No actually I uploaded an image, but it was rejected. Too big? The message I get is
"Setup did not complete. The error is:
Setup has detected a different version of this product already installed. If you still wish to remove or repair that version, you must yse that version's installer.!
What does it mean?
It means you are using the wrong installer...

I was trying to repair Trados Studio 2021 SR2, of course... but I get the message I copied above
Please uninstall the "SDL Trados Legacy Complatible Module" and "SDL Trados 2017 SR1 - Remove suite...".
Then make sure, you have restarted your PC:

No no, I am working from a Windows 10 laptop. I disintstalled the first file you mentioned without problems, but the other won't be disinstalled, I get the usual message (above). Now I will restart the PC anyway...
Why did you ask? Can Trados work on Mac? That would be great news for me (I also have a Mac), but I have always known that it is not possible...
