Hello, I purchased SDL Trados Studio 2017 Freelance a while back, and I would like to use it on a new machine now. Is this possible? I have deactivated the licence, and I can see one available licence in my account. How can I use this licence?

Please install Trados from your account, Products and Plans - Downloads https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/mydownloads.asp and activate it using the code from Products and Plans - Licenses. If you encounter any issues, please let us know and we will submit a case with our technical team for you.

How simple! Thank you for the prompt reply.
Since I am now working on a Mac, I was wondering if there is a Mac version that I could use with the same license, or perhaps an upgrade option?
Dear Elisa, may I ask again about the Mac version? see my previous question
Sorry for missing your comment. Trados 2017 doesn't work on Mac. There is no Mac version per se, you need to have Windows installed for it to work (for details please see https://www.trados.com/blog/how-to-run-trados-studio-on-an-apple-mac/) You might be interested in Trados Go, which is the cloud version of Trados and works via browser. However, please note its limitations, as outlined by the comparison down the page: https://www.trados.com/pricing/freelance-translators/
