Hi everyone,
I have a very big issue with Trados Studio 2024.
Some days ago I have tried to update to SR1 18.1.2.6370, but had to revert to 18.0.2.3255 because it did not open my ongoing projects (had to do the same procedure on 2 different PC's).
Now I have decided to install the update once again.
At first the update seemed to be ok.
I opened a new .sdlppx package.
After that Trados was not able to display the Termbase and got stuck.
Then I had to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to close the application.
Now as I try to restart Trados, it doesn't open, i.e. I see the initial screen with the version number but it closes after a couple of seconds. It does not even appear in the Task Manager of Windows. It seems that the application cannot be loaded by the system.
I have tried to repair, uninstall the application, revert to 18.0.2.3255 with no results.
Now I cannot work. I have never experienced a situation like this before, I have always had no problems.
I am currently working on a Windows 10 machine.
