Please reset the license from your RWS account - Licenses tab - Reset license button.

Also, please instal Trados on your computer, not on OneDrive. And save the files locally, not on OneDrive either. You may encounter issues with the files if you save them on OneDrive. First article is how to reset the license, the second one explains the issues OneDrive can cause:

Anca, I reset the licence. So now I'll uninstall trados.

Then for install, have I to downloud trados from the Page RWC? Then install it on drive C, desconecting one drive and active the licence?

Hi Yulia,

If Trados was installed somewhere else than the drive C, then please uninstall and install it on drive C, that is the path it selects as default upon installation.

Yes, preferably use the installer from your RWS account - Downloads section.

Trados generally installs on drive C - unless you select a different path. My advice is to let Trados install on drive C as it does as default.

OneDrive influences the synchronization of the files that you work on in Trados, and if you don't pause OneDrive when working on them or disable it,you may have issues and errors with those files.Here it is explained more on how to disable it, and this error is the most common with OneDrive:

If Trados is on drive C - and you can see that in the list of the programs installed on it, but your files and projects and TMs were synchronized and saved on OneDrive, then check the article above so you change just that.

So, I can first try to pause one drive and try to save the translated document in excel. May be it works?

If Trados is on Drive C, yes - try that. 

But I would suggest also reading the article above and see what it is advised to do to prevent the files to be saves there and get errors.

I paused one drive, tried to save the translation in excel, but it gave me the usual error:

Then I tried to disable the license, but can you imagine, I can´t do it! It gives me the same error I put in my first letter. I have already disabled One Drive. And it doesn´t help. What can I do to disable the license for desinstall Trados and then install it correctly. 

And I tried to create a new project with Memories and term bases thet I copied directly to drive C. The Memorie is attached well, but the term bases gives me this error:

I´ll have to translate a big progect soon, so I have to have Trados working well.

Try to reset Trados to its default settings:

Uninstalling Trados usually does not solve errors - and as I said, if Trados is already installed on drive C, the issue with the files is most probably caused by OneDrive.

Please do the reset to default state and let me know how that goes.

Hi Anca,

If the uninstalling Trados does not solve errors, what can I do to solve them? I need to work in Trados, translating excel and other documents and if it will not help I don´t think logic to uninstall it. What need I to do to can use the trados correctly?
