We are excited to announce the Cumulative Update 13 (CU13) for Trados GroupShare 2020 SR1. This release delivers critical enhancements and key fixes that improve compatibility, reporting, and security, making your translation workflows even more seamless and efficient.

 Seamless Quality Estimation Across Platforms

In CU13, we’ve introduced synchronization of Quality Estimation (QE) scores across Trados GroupShare, Trados Enterprise, and the Trados Studio plugin.

• When using Language Weaver for pre-translation, QE scores appear consistently across platforms with color coding (Green/Amber/Red) in Studio and quality labels (Good/Adequate/Poor) in reports.
• Projects moving between platforms retain their quality insights, helping you maintain a robust translation process.

 Flexible SDLXLIFF Analysis Reports

A major addition in CU13 is the ability to generate SDLXLIFF Analysis Reports for projects independent to any translation provider used.

• These reports expand beyond previous MTQE report limitations to evaluate pre-translated segments and existing content.
• New configuration options give you greater control:
  • Report cross-file repetitions
  • Report internal fuzzy match leverage
  • Report locked segments separately
  • Exclude locked segments entirely

This means more tailored reporting to suit your specific project needs.

 Enhanced Security for MultiTerm Online: Upgrade Apache Tomcat

We recommend upgrading to Apache Tomcat 9.0.97, ensuring improved security by addressing identified vulnerabilities.

 Key Fixes for Better Performance

We’ve tackled important issues in this release to improve accuracy and reliability:

• Fixed incorrect retrieval of custom field values in server-based Translation Memories (TMs).
• Resolved discrepancies in internal fuzzy match values within reports.
• Enhanced analysis of ZIP archives by processing all translatable files, even those in subfolders.
• Addressed issues with generating target files for reimported packages.
