Add a server: Issue when trying to authenticate with Azure AD (through my Gmail account)

Hi, I am trying to add a server in Trados 2019. In order to connect, first I need to authenticate the account through Azure AD by using my Gmail account. But when trying to log in, I get the following: "This browser or app may not be secure". I use Google Chrome but have also tried with Edge and Firefox and still it doesn't work. Could you please help me out? Thanks

Trados Studio screenshot showing an error message 'No se ha podido iniciar sesion' with a suggestion to try a different browser as the current one may not be secure.

  • Hello,

I understand you're having trouble authenticating your account through Azure AD to add a server in Trados 2019. This issue might be due to the security settings of your browser. Here are some steps you can try:

Step 1: Update your browser to the latest version. This can usually be done in the settings or about section of your browser.

Step 2: Clear your browser's cache and cookies. This can also be done in the settings of your browser.

Step 3: Try to disable any browser extensions that might interfere with the login process. You can do this in the extensions or add-ons section of your browser settings.

Step 4: Check your browser's security settings. Make sure it's not set to block third-party cookies or data.

Step 5: If the issue persists, try using a different device or network.

If you've already done the initial setup with our Sales and Business Consultant teams and you're sure you're entering the correct username/password combination, then it might be a good idea to get in touch with someone in your team who has access with the Administrator role. They might be able to reset your password.

If all else fails, you can log a case with RWS Support. They should be able to assist you further.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
