Fuzzy Match

Question

Hello. Can someone explain to me exactly how the fuzzy match works in the translator version of Passolo? Will the fuzzy match find or match on part of a phrase? For example: I have the word "name" translated in Spanish, will the fuzzy match translate "name" if the phrase is "dialed name" The fuzzy match doesn't seem to pick up the word "name" right now.

The fuzzy match works and is even intended for partial matches. The reason why it doesn't pick up "name" in "dialed name" is most likely because the minimum match % is set too high for this particular case. You can change the minimum match % in the Translation Helpers -> Fuzzy Matching options. See SDL Passolo 2016 docs - Using the fuzzy list
