How can I block advertisements in Web Lookup for Studio 2022?
Previously, I could block ads through Internet Explorer's security settings. Now, the new version of Web Lookup is based on Microsoft Edge WebView2. Lots of ads appear on the pages of Glosbe, Linguee, etc. It is very annoying.

The option of restricting running of scripts is not available in the latest version of Web Lookup for Studio 2022. This option would solve the problem of ads appearing on certain pages. Without this, using some pages (etc. Glosbe) is very frustrating.
I would appreciate it very much if you could implement this option in this version, too.

Indeed, Web Lookup now uses WebView2 and although it is the same technology as Edge it runs completely independently. WebView2 is also a bit more limited and it is not possible to install extensions, for example.
I have now added the option to restrict running of scripts in version 3.22.1.0, which I suppose is about to be published soon.

I have just signed and published it... do you want the old version for 2022 left up there? You can remove it yourself but since you left it I did too... just in case you wanted the non webview2 version to be available.
Using the integrated appstore will ensure the latest version is used, so if you do want the older one you need to take this from the appstore website and specifically select the older version.

By the way, in Studio 2022, under Add-Ins/RWS AppStore, I couldn't update Web Lookup, as no update was awailable. Insted, I had to uninstall the plugin manually, and find/install it from the App Store again.

I have not found the option to deactivate the scripts in the plug in version 3.24.0.0 for Studio 2024.
Did I miss it or is it not available?
