End of life Announcement

We will be retiring several older and low-usage apps and plugins. This means they will not be updated for compatibility with Trados Studio 2024 SR1 or future versions.

Trados Studio - Export Analysis Reports

Trados InSource!

Excel4GroupShare

Trados TMBackup

Trados QuickInfo

Trados Jobs

Trados Studio Word Cloud

GroupShare Version Fetch

Variables Manager for Trados Studio

Trados Legit!

Record Source TU

TM Lifting

Trados Business Manager Lite

TermInjector

Trados Freshstart

While these plugins will no longer officially be maintained, their source code is available on our GitHub repository link.
Users and developers are welcome to take over maintenance or customize them independently.

Removing Versions for Unsupported Trados Studio Releases

As part of efforts to streamline the RWS AppStore and prioritize actively supported solutions, we will be unpublishing all Trados AppStore Team-developed apps built for Trados Studio 2021 and earlier.
This applies not only to those marked as end-of-life, but also to others no longer aligned with current platform support. For a full list of discontinued versions, please refer to the RWS support article.

What You Should Do

If you’re still using Trados Studio 2021 or older, please consider upgrading to a supported version.

As we remove older versions from the RWS AppStore, your existing setup will continue to work without interruption.

NOTE: If you ever need to reinstall in the future, you won’t be able to re-download it from the RWS AppStore/Integrated AppStore once it’s been removed.

We strongly recommend downloading and backing up any versions you depend on to ensure continued access if needed later.

For any questions or concerns, please comment on this blog so we can offer guidance and support where possible.

Thanks for bearing with us as we make the AppStore simpler and more future-ready.

Development Experience Team

When close enough… isn’t!

The RWS Community has always been a great place for me to learn more about the Trados products, especially with regard to how its use is perceived by others, and how the workflows the product was designed for can often be very different to reality.
