Trados Studio 2021 SR2 won't open

Question

I purchased Trados Studio 2021 SR2 a couple of days ago. I read the installation guide, made sure my hardware/software were compatible, downloaded the installer and tried to install the program. At the end of the installation wizard, I get confirmation that the installation was successful. However, when I try to open the desktop Studio, it simply won't open. I click on the icon, and nothing. No error message, nothing. I uninstalled and downloaded/re-installed Trados Studio 2021 SR2 multiple times but it still won't open. Please help. I need to solve this fast.

Thank you for the proposed solutions, Oana. Nope, the Task Manager does not show Trados Studio as a running app. I attempted to repair the installation from the control panel but it didn't change anything.

Hi Oxana Giannetti , 
 Do you see the software opened in the taskbar perhaps? So it's launched, but not maximized on the screen? Please can you open the Task Manager ( right-click anywhere in the taskbar and select Task manager from the list) and check if Studio has instances opened and running in the background. 
 
 Close all instances of it, if there are any. 
 
 In alternative, please try a Studio repair, following Workaround 1 from here:
