I work with my converted Excel Termbase but I can't use the Picklist I added after opening it in MultiTerm. Is there a reason for it?

Have you added the picklist values to the picklist while converting? Od did you use MultiTerm Convert? In this case the values from Excel should already be present in the picklist.
All this provided of course, that you have added the picklist to the desired place in the termbase structure.
