Multiterm 2015: Cannot reorganise termbase, error 3052 "File sharing lock count exceeded"

Question

Hello! 
 Term recognition in Studio 2017 stopped working across all projects using the same (big) termbase, so I tried to reorganise the termbase in Multiterm 2015. It failed with the following error message: 
 "Anzahl der Dateisperrungen &uuml;berschritten. (Fehler 3052)" 
 (Based on a Google search, the equivalent English seems to be: "File sharing lock count exceeded" 
 What to do? I absolutely need this termbase to work in my project.

 As far as I am aware, this is the only solution and involves updating and changing the registry. 
 
 Please let me know if you are able to resolve the issue.

Setting the MaxLocksPerFile decimal value (or rather all instances thereof I could find, since there were several) from 9500 to 50000 seems to have worked, reorganization went through without a hitch. Thanks so much!
