How to customise Term Recognition and AutoSuggest

Question

Is there a way to customise the display settings for the Term Recognition window and to prevent AutoSuggest of some terms based on their Descriptive Fields content?

The only solution you have here is to use the forbidden term feature and flag a warning when an incorrect term is used. There is no feature to filter out terms from being available in autosuggest... although I seem to recall there being an Idea suggested for this in the Idea site already so maybe worth taking a look and voting for it.
