Hello,
I have just (successfully) downloaded Multiterm (I have Studio Freelance 2011) and then have also uploaded a package from the FTP. But when I open my first file, Studio still says it cannot open Termbase, with no reason mentioned.
Thank you for your answers!
Ah, ok. That gave me a clue. Perhaps it was in the original Project when the package was prepared, but then not included in the package sent to you. So the reference to the Termbase is still there but no termbase. Can you browse to the location of the termbase and see? If it was in the package then it will be in the folder where the Project was created on your computer. If you hover over the name you see I think the path will be shown.
So placing this somewhere you can reference it helped... easy in the end. Just to close this off, if you hover over the termbase name here it will show you the path, and this is what I meant.
Hi Magali, if the path points to a GroupShare server then you need to be given access to that. This is a server Termbase and you need to speak to your client as it will require login credentials.
When you uploaded your own termbase did you do that in your Project Setings and add it to the Project?
