SDL MultiTerm 2017 Extract failed to extract any terms

I am a Translation major student. During my CAT course, I tried to use SDL MultiTerm 2017 Extract on the school's PC to extract terms from a passage, but never succeeded!

Nevertheless, the exactly same app works well on my teacher's teaching PC. I noticed that there is always a prompt appears before the extracted term list is shown, which never happened in students' PCs. So I think it is because the prompt does not appear that we cannot see the term list.

So my question is: how to make the prompt appears?
A confirmation dialog box with the message 'Do you wish to process now?' with options 'Yes' and 'No' and a checkbox labeled 'Don't ask this question again.' in SDL MultiTerm software.

    I doubt that's the reason... but you never know!  I don't have that old version installed but in the current version I have this file:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm16\MultiTermExtract_Settings.xml

    I think the setting to reset this is in this file.  So you could try deleting the file and then restart Extract.

    My guess is you'll find it here:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm14\MultiTermExtract_Settings.xml
