As long as I've used Trados, terms that are in one's TM but don't appear in the term window have been a recurring frustration. Sometimes I'll "add" a term that doesn't appear, only to have Trados ask if I want to "edit an existing term", but neither editing it or not not editing it affects performance, and it would appear that once an entry ceases to be recognised, there is no way to fix it.

I frequently reorganize and rebuild my TB. Performance will improve for a while, and then I have to rebuild the TB yet again. Repeat. Repeat. 

Any suggestions on how to get term recognition to work with *all* of the terms in my TB, all of the time, and not just some of them, some of the time? 

Also,. does RWS plan to somebody make term recognition really really work they way it should (reliably)?
