I get the following error while trying to create a termbase in MultiTerm 2009: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID .... failed due to the following error: 8007007f. There a lot o useful stuff to find out the source of the problem and I even have the export of the messa error in an xml file, but I don't seem to find a way to attach the error details file....

To attach a file (regardless of whether it is a picture or a another format), click on "Use rich formatting". Place your cursor in the text where you want the "image/icon" to be inserted and click on the button highlighted in red on this screenshot:
A dialog will open in which you can browse to the location of the file to be inserted and insert it.
If you insert a file, you will see a default grey picture of a folder, which you can easily resize to become smaller.
That's it (simple when one knows, but not intuitive, I agree).

Many thanks for your reply! In the meantime I found the reason to get such an error message. Since I have MultiTerm 2007 and MultiTerm 2009 installed on my computer, when switching from one version to the other, I must first activate the version I want to use by using the "Activate SDL MultiTerm 2009/2007" tool.
