Translating the enclosed file—xliff, but somehow problematic

Question

This is a xliff file, even if the file name extension is xml. 
 I have tried various options in Multilingual XML, but when I enter //*/trans-unit as path, I get "Object reference...". If I change the file name extension to xliff, the same message comes from the XLIFF file type. 
 The file opens properly with Any XML, but this is not what I need...

 I'm guessing until we investigate... but whilst your path looks correct the structure of the file is far from consistent. For example the path is actually this: 
 //file/body/group/group/trans-unit 
 and then various iterations around the group node all the way up to this: 
 //file/body/group/group/group/group/group/trans-unit 
 I would not be surprised if this is the problem.

 Thank you for confirming that. I was also astonished about the structure. In other cases //*/trans-unit has worked, but wouldn't work here. 
 For the time being I have used regex to populate source to target and created a xml file type for that.
