First of all welcome to SDL Trados and the Community.

I think the first thing to check would be your actual Project Settings and check the TM is added to the project and that the specific TM is 'ticked' as follows

If this is correct- you can open the TM in the TM view  and check your previous translations have been added.

Thread necromancing... 5 years later, I am experiencing the very same problem. TMs are all enabled, but no match or suggestion shows up. No idea what happened. It is almost useless this way, since there are so many 100% matches I cannot leverage.

1. Provide a clear and concise description of the problem you are facing... screenshots are good!  Make sure you include one with the settings you have for your TM.
2. List the steps you took that led to the issue.
3. Mention the versions of the software you are using.
4. Detail any solutions you have already tried.

Yeah, all right, I can do it, but I wanted to highlight that there has been no response to this issue in five years.

Trados is not exactly cheap, and it is also mandatory for many translators. It cannot be that issues are left unsolved.

I agree... it's unfortunate nobody responded.  But in my experience TMs not functioning are almost always user error as this is the most basic function in the product.  The fact the user didn't pursue this is also telling... she may well have resolved it herself.  My point being that this is very unlikely to be an unresolved issue in the software... especially after 5-years.
