I'm in the process of setting up Studio 2021, but I can't get the program to accept working with .txlf files. In the previous versions of the program, I only had to add ;*.txlf under the XLIFF settings, but this doesn't seem to work with the 2021 version. Please, help me to resolve this.

I don't have a direct link! I'm sure I have explained this many times over the years but I would have tried to address the question around this at the time and don't have a generic "this is how to handle a TXLF".
I suggest you try the simple approach first and just add *.txlf to the filetype settings for XLIFF so that you can open the TXLF with the default XLIFF filetype. You would do that here:
Make sure you do this in the project template you intend to use for your project BEFORE you create your project.
If that doesn't help please create a new thread so we can be clear about the questions and hopefully find a way forward for you.

Okay I tried this and it didn't work. But I was working in the Project settings from the Welcome page. I am pretty sure it worked before, but I had a computer crash last week and it deleted all my Trados settings from all three versions I have installed.
I work on lots of small projects so it isn't worth setting this up for every project I work on, I just need to be able to click on a file and open it!
Do I need to create a template? Where do i start for that?

If you worked in the Project Settings then this will never work. It's too late by then. If you worked in the File -> Options and it didn't work then we'd need to see what you are actually doing. Better to use this thread I think - How do I set up Studio 2021 to work with Wordfast Pro bilingual files?

Okay!! I have done it!!
For some reason, when my computer crashed it reset how files are saved by default - they were listed as Wordfast Pro files but the icon was showing as a Memsource file - so I added the .txlf file name and it worked!!
