The cursor in the Target column constantly disappears and I never know where it is! I just have to guess and start typing to see where it is! How do I fix that? This problem started when I upgrade from Studio 2015 to 2021.

I discussed this with the development team and they have noted that sometimes the term view steals the focus and this may be what's making the cursor disappear, similarly for the translation preview. The logs we received from Juraj yesterday show that terminology was in use. Can you all confirm whether the issue reproduces if you don't use terminology or the preview? So close these windows and don't use them for a bit. This behaviour is definitely inconsistent and we have not been able to reproduce it ourselves which makes it quite hard to figure out what is deactivating the cursor.
Thanks for your help.
fyi.
Thank you for the information Paul.
I can't reproduce it either. It occurs at random. When it happens, I click anywhere at the first line of a segment and press Home to make sure that the invisible cursor is supposedly at the very beginning of the segment, and then I press Ctrl+right arrow while counting keystrokes to understand where the cursor is at the moment. Then I start typing. If the text appears at the right place, I just go on. If not, then I count keystrokes again as many times as I need to reach the right position.
To be honest, this issue seems minor to me now. It doesn't happen too often, but even when it does, I have got used to handle it in the above described manner.

Hi Stepan Konev
Try clicking your mouse in the Translation Results window and then clicking back in the Editor window.
If we are having the same problem, then the cursor will appear again.
Thanks. Will try it too. So far I turned off the touchpad feature as Juraj Holic mentioned above. Physically, I don't have any touchpad device, but Windows settings allow using it when it fits the device (not sure how exactly it is worded in English, but from Russian it translates to "Use this mode when it fits the device" (by default); I switched it to "Never use the touchpad mode".
